Eventually, after a long day, I am finally sitting down (without having to focus too much on what I’m writing).

The day started with 45 minutes on the treadmill – or the ‘dreadmill’ as I like to call it – then, when I got home, I prepared my meals for work and then cooked my breakfast, which consisted of eggs and oats – which is my favourite meal of the day.

Then I had a little spare time before the commencement of my official working day. This meant that I could get a nice 45 minute spell of writing in before leaving for my day job.

I always feel that as a writer, it is my soul purpose to write every single day. Even if it’s just a little. It’s still progress. I especially enjoy getting that little writing session in prior to starting work because it helps to clear my mind somewhat. A short writing session, albeit, a productive one!

Then it was time for work – actual work. I hope to make my writing my ‘actual work’ one day. And by ‘actual’ I mean that I want to be paid from my writing. But for now, I will have to make do. I have to make money somehow!

Work today was as it is every other day – an exhilarating 7 hours of lugging furniture to and fro (I’m a removal man, not a thief) and then coming home, all nice and sweaty!

After a quick shower, I wrote an article which I needed to write. Had a little read of ‘Finders Keepers’ by Stephen King – which by the way, I’m finding to be a great read – and then I had my pre-workout meal and headed for the church of iron!

After my weight training, it was back to the dreadmill. But it was only 15 minutes this time, so not quite as dreadful as my morning session. Then I headed home, had my egg whites and ground rice. Wrote a little more in my novel and then planned tomorrow’s chapter.

And that brings us to here. I’m sat in bed, typing this from my phone, wondering how many people actually give a shit… I’ve got to hand it to you: if you’ve read this far, then you certainly have an incredible attention span. Either that or you’re just EXTREMELY bored.

So there you have it. My busy day. Removal man by day, bodybuilder by night and writer throughout.

If it’s a nice day tomorrow, I plan on taking a little drive into the countryside with my notepad and a pen. I’ll be working on some poetry, so be expecting a couple of poems over the next few days or so.

Tomorrow will probably consist of some more of my quotes and maybe an article or another novel excerpt. Who knows? (Certainly not me, I haven’t planned that far ahead)!

My plan right now though, is to sleep. And sleep I must. It’s another 5:30am start tomorrow. I have a date with the dreadmill at 6. Wish me luck!
